Resumable Replication

After a failed or canceled replication update, replication will resume automatically if both the source and replication target support the resumable replication feature (OS8.7.0 and later).

Resumable replication performs these actions with the next scheduled update:

  • The remainder of the data after the interruption occurred is sent to the replication target.

  • An incremental update, based on the interrupted data stream, is then sent to the replication target.

The estimated data size shown in the replication progress monitor includes data to be sent as part of both actions.
