Set Up a Credential Cache on the Host

As of Oracle Hardware Management Pack 2.3.3, this feature has been disabled. Refer to the Release Notes for more information.

The host local credential cache contains the username and password required to access Oracle ILOM via the local Host-to-ILOM Interconnect.

The username and password for the credential cache must match the username and password for the account being used on the Oracle ILOM service processor (for example as shown by ilomconfig list user).

Note -  The credentials provided must have root privileges.
  • To set up a credential cache on the host, type:

    ilomconfig create credential --username=username

where username is a valid user account name used to log in to Oracle ILOM.
