Using firmware-check to Confirm Minimum Required Firmware

Introduced in Oracle Hardware Management Pack 2.3.6, the firmware-check command verifies the firmware version of the current host system to determine if the latest minimum required version is installed. If the current host version is older than the minimum required version, a message is displayed using stdout or logged to syslog. Firmware checked by firmware-check includes system level firmware and Oracle ILOM. Running the minimum required version of firmware ensures optimal performance, security, and stability of the system.
