firmware-check is not supported for use with systems that have a version of Oracle ILOM older than 3.0.2.
firmware-check can only be run on domains that have direct access to ILOM/sysfw versions, such as DOM0 and Control Domains. It cannot be run in non-global or Kernel zones, or in virtual environments. Communication occurs through KCS.
