Collections organize your catalog into a hierarchy that provides a navigational framework for your store. Collections can contain both products and other collections. A navigable collection can be either a root collection or the child of one or more other collections. A root collection is a starting point in the navigational structure of the catalog. You can also create non-navigable collections. These contain items, like gift wrapping or monogramming, that shoppers can buy but not browse to as part of the hierarchical catalog on your store.
