SER MGT Ports
Each SMOD has a SER MGT port; however, the SER MGT port on SMOD1 is only active on dual 4-socket servers.
This port provides a default connection to the Oracle ILOM SP. For DTE-to-DTE communications, you can use an RJ-45 to DB-9 crossover adapter with a standard RJ-45 cable to achieve the required null modem configuration.
