Before running the installation procedure, ensure that your environment is listed in the supported environments and configurations list at http://www.atg.com/en/products-services/commerce/supported-environments/.
You must have root or admin access to the directories where you will install the software.
ATG Customer Intelligence (ACI) must be installed and configured according to the instructions in the ATG Customer Intelligence Installation and Configuration Guide. Ensure your database connection is working.
The ATG Customer Intelligence application must always run on the same HTTP server that your main ATG platform application uses, so that the BCC can correctly link to the ATG Dashboard. Refer to the ATG Customer Intelligence Data Warehouse Guide for further information.
This section describes how to install the ATG Knowledge Reports, which should be installed on the same machine as the ATG Knowledge server.
In your file system, navigate to
<ATG2007.3dir>/Service2007.3/Service/and locate the
KnowledgeDataWarehouse/deploymentKnowledge.zipfile.Copy
Knowledge.zipto the<ATG2007.3dir>//ACI2007.3/c8/deploymentdirectory.Open the ATG Dashboard (
http://agenthost/arc/) and navigate to Tools > Content Administration.Click on the New Import link. The next screen lists the deployment archives that are available for importing.
Select
Knowledge.zipand complete the import process, accepting all the defaults.Once the import is complete, you will see a folder called
ATGin the home page of the Dashboard. Click on this folder to display the reports.
