The following solution properties control who can view a solution in ATG Knowledge (internal users):

Important: User needs to be a member of the solution’s owning group (either primary or secondary) and needs appropriate org role (that grants rights for the owning group) to be able to view/modify or perform tasks on the solution. Refer to Workflow Security for further information on setting security for solutions. The ability to view or modify a solution is also based on the solution status and whether the user has been granted the appropriate status right for the corresponding owning group/internal audience organization role.

The right to view a solution in ATG Self Service (external users) is controlled by:

  • The solution’s external audience

  • Deployment of the solution from ATG Knowledge to ATG Self Service
