Dynamo Application Framework (DAF) deployment uses a multi-threaded, multi-server model to deploy file assets from one server to another. Configuring DAF deployment involves using the BCC to make the primary server aware of all target servers, so that content is deployed correctly.

For additional information on DAF, refer to the Using DAF Deployment chapter in the ATG Programming Guide.

ATG Service Administration and ATG Knowledge use the underlying ATG Content Administration system to deploy setting changes to the ATG Self Service server. In order for an ATG Self Service server to be recognized as a deployment target, you must define it as a target site within the ATG Content Administration system’s deployment topology. You do this through the Deployment Administration console in the ATG Business Control Center (BCC).
