Remove the Battery

  1. Prepare for service.

    See Preparing for Service.

  2. Gently push the battery toward the service processor to release it from the retention clip.
    image:FIgure shows how to remove and replace the battery on the server module motherboard.
  3. Install a new battery.

    See Install the Battery.
