Oracle ATG Web Commerce Merchandising is a browser-based application that you use to create and manage catalogs, products, search facets, promotions, coupons, and pricing for one or more ATG-based commerce Web sites. You can perform the following activities in Merchandising:
Set up catalogs and populate them with categories, products, and SKUs. You can create catalog assets directly in Merchandising or import them, for example, from a feed.
Create promotions and coupons that allow you to offer discounts on specific products or groups of products.
If your ATG environment includes ATG Search, you can use Merchandising to manage Search Merchandising features for your catalog, including facets, search configurations, and search tests.
Merchandising is installed as part of the ATG platform and is accessed from the Business Control Center.
