You can test how language affects search queries and results if your site is configured to support searches in multiple languages. You can test:

The search text language is not the same as the language dimension value used to select search configurations. The search text language tells the search engine which language the search text is written in, while the language dimension value represents a site visitor’s language. Usually, your commerce site is configured so that the search text language matches the site visitor’s language, but that might not always be the case.

Here are some examples of situations where the language dimension might be different from the search text language:

When you test search terms in a search configuration and your site supports multiple languages, you choose which search configuration and which search text language to use in the test.
