The method you use to create configuration files using OEDA varies, depending on the software build level on your system. Follow these procedures to determine the software build level on your system:
# svcprop -p configuration/build ssc/identification
If the following error message appears:
svcprop: Pattern 'ssc/identification' doesn't match any entities
then you probably have software build 1.5.8 or later on your system. Go to Step 2 to verify.
If output similar to the following appears:
ssc-1.5.3
If the output shows a software build level of 1.5.4 or earlier, go to Creating Configuration Files Using OEDA: Build Level 1.5.4 or Earlier.
If the output shows a software build level of 1.5.8 or later, go to Creating Configuration Files Using OEDA: Build Level 1.5.8 or Later.
# svcprop -p configuration/build svc:/system/oes/id:default
Output similar to the following appears:
ssc-1.5.10
If the output shows a software build level of 1.5.4 or earlier, go to Creating Configuration Files Using OEDA: Build Level 1.5.4 or Earlier.
If the output shows a software build level of 1.5.8 or later, go to Creating Configuration Files Using OEDA: Build Level 1.5.8 or Later.
