Configure the Interface Cost

You can configure the interface cost explicitly to specify the cost of sending a packet on an interface. Values are 1-65535.

This example configures the interface cost to be 20.

1. Configure the interface cost through the CLI.

   SEFOS(config)# interface vlan 10
   SEFOS(config-if)# ipv6 ospf metric 20
   SEFOS(config-if)# end
   

2. Ensure that the correct interface cost is set.

   SEFOS# show ipv6 ospf interface vlan 10
