If an area is configured as a stub area, you can inject summary routes into it. You can also configure other parameters related to that area.
In a stub area, the generation of summary LSAs is optional. If you specify the no-summary option, the router will not propagate summary LSAs. By default, the stub area sends summary information.
You can configure area parameters only after enabling the OSPF process. Configure these parameters in Router Configuration mode.
