Configure the Neighbor Probe Retransmission Limit

This example specifies that the neighbor will be deemed inactive after 20 consecutive LSA transmissions.

  1. Configure the number of consecutive LSA retransmissions before the neighbor is deemed inactive.
    SEFOS(config)# interface vlan 10
    SEFOS(config-if)# ipv6 ospf demand-circuit
    SEFOS(config-if)# ipv6 ospf neighbor-probe retransmit-limit 20
    SEFOS(config-if)# end

  2. Ensure that the correct retransmission limit was set.
    SEFOS# show ipv6 ospf interface vlan 10
