Tasks
This table describes the tasks to prepare the SEFOS interface
for subsequent management activities.

Familiarize yourself with basic SEFOS
topologies and the default configuration. |

Connect to SEFOS. |
|
3. |
(Optional) Configure the environment
to give yourself more time for learning. |
|
4. |
Create the interfaces that you will be
using. |
|
5. |
Create a name for the file that will
contain configuration information. |
|
6. |
Set the default VLAN ID. |
|
7. |
Configure where to display the debug
file. |
|
8. |
Configure ACL filters on interfaces. |
|
9. |
Classify packets to a service based on
the ACL filters. |
|
10. |
Monitor packets from port 25 on port
26. |

11. |
Limit interface traffic. |
|
12. |
(Optional) Set up how you want save configurations,
as they change (incremental) or saving them periodically (auto-save). |

Save configuration information to the
backup file. |

14. |
Save a copy of the config file to a remote
location. |
