Remarks on the Program Function
With this program, you can update the data of the intern MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application Watch communication, create a new data record, modify or delete existing data. You can also view the stored data for information purposes.
This application is currently used for the device from type Protocol -> TCP communication (P) to connect with the Micros Fidelio hotel credit. This application will be used to made the connection for the hotel credit system "Micros Fidelio" and sends the commands for a restart in case of an offline state

Remarks on the Input Fields
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these basic data
Just like in almost any other program:
- The input mask may be different in your MICROS Retail OSCAR POS program depending on the set-up of the application. In some cases some input fields may be missing.
- Some input fields may contain default values or defined selection options; these cannot be updated.
- The input mask contains some fields that require an entry and others in which entries are optional.
- If the data record is updated via multi-page input masks, go to the dialog window by clicking on the appropriate buttons with <Mouse key 1>.
- The same procedure applies to call up another update program from this program.
- In some cases you may find that so-called "Switches" which - depending on the default - can be activated or deactivated with <Mouse key 1>. Activated switches are identified by their dark colour, deactivated switches are lighter-coloured.

Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 9999
Changes or clear operations are possible after entering the number in the key fields. If the number is not known, it can be selected with Search.
If a new data record is to be programmed, a free number should be entered in the key fields.
Description
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.
The internal name of the application e. g. "ApplWatchComm" should be entered in this field.
The name used here must be entered in the field Program name of the assigned process unit. Please ensure that the spelling is identical.
FSM-File
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.
The internal name of the FSM file should be entered in this field. FSM stands for Finite State Machine. The function procedures are defined in this file.

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.

Appl. group
Entry range permitted: numeric 1 - 99
Of no significance for the program type "Watch communication".
Form no.
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99999999
Enter the number of the frame of this application in this field. The frame no. refers to a form in which the layout of the program window (as it appears on the screen) is defined.
Installation
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99999
The number of the installation the application is to be linked.
Process unit
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999
The number of the process unit the application is to be linked. The process unit must be from type "Device" with a connected device from type "TCP communication (P)" for the communication with the Micros Fidelio hotel credit system.

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999
The number of the device from type "TCP communication (P)" which is used for the communication with the Micros Fidelio hotel credit system.
Polling interval (sec.)
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 99999
Enter a value in this field to define the numbers of seconds for the interval the TCP connection will be checked.
Fgl connect function
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.
Default = "fidelioLinkDescr"
Fgl answer function
Entry range permitted: alphanumeric max. 20 pos.
Default = "fidelioLinkAlive"
Debug
Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999
Default = 0
Note:
Only select a value higher than "0" for
the debug level if a protocol of the communication with is required for
error analysis. The data appears in file "errlog" in directory work
of the appropriate system unit.
