Remarks on program function

NOTE!
The internal application programs are integrated into MICROS Retail OSCAR POS with this program. Changes to existing programs can only be made by a MICROS Retail systems supporter.

The data of the internal MICROS Retail OSCAR POS application programs, type Chaining report, can be updated, i.e. programmed, changed or cleared, with this program. Data which already exists can also be displayed for information purposes.

Chaining reports:
A chaining report can be programmed after entering a number in the system to identify a data record with the name of the chaining report. Select Chaining report to update an existing chaining report or to program a new data record.

The procedure for programming a new Chaining report is as follows:

A detailed description of how to program a chaining report can be found under Create chain report.

Remarks on data fields

All options available for update of this basic data are described below.

As with nearly all programs the following also applies here:

Appl. name

Field with firmly defined selection options

Select one of the prompted program types by clicking onto the field and selecting what is required with another click.

Create chain reports describes in detail how a Chaining report is generated.

The following types are available:

Application

Entry range permitted: numeric, 1 - 9999

Changes or clear operations are done by calling up the data record with a number entry in the key fields. If the number is not known, the data record can be selected with Search.

Enter a free no. in the key fields if a new application is to be programmed.

Program name

Entry range permitted: alphanumeric, max. 20 pos.
