BIOS Setup Utility
This section describes how to access and use the BIOS Setup Utility.
BIOS Setup Utility Menu Overview
The BIOS Setup Utility is accessed by starting or resetting the system and then
pressing F2 to interrupt the BIOS power-on self tests (POST). For details, see
Access the BIOS Setup Utility Menus.

The following table describes the top-level BIOS Setup Utility menu tabs.

Main
|
Includes general product information, including memory, time
and date, security settings, system serial number, and CPU and
DIMM information.

Advanced
|
Provides configuration settings for the CPU, including trusted
computing, USB, and others.

IO
|
Enable and disable Option ROMs.
|
Boot
|
Enable or disable internal Oracle System Assistant support,
set the boot mode to Legacy or UEFI, and configure the boot
device priority.

UEFI Driver Control
|
Appears only if the boot mode is set to UEFI Boot Mode. Only
UEFI boot options are present to the user.
|
Save and Exit
|
Save changes and exit, discard changes and exit, discard
changes, or load optimal or fail-safe defaults.
