Requesting the Submitter to Resubmit the Deal for Approval

Prerequisites

To request the submitter to resubmit the deal for approval you should have:

  • Reasons defined in the Approval Workflow Reason screen where the Reason Category is set to Deal Return

Procedure

To request the submitter to resubmit the deal for approval:

  1. Search for the deal in the Search Deal zone of the Deal Dashboard screen.
    Tip: You can also click the link in the Deal Information column for the deal that is assigned to you for an approval in the Deal To Do zone.
  2. In the Search Results section, click the link in the Deal Information column corresponding to the deal that you want to resubmit to the submitter for approval.
    The Deal Information screen appears.
  3. Click the Return to Submitter button in the Deal Information zone.
    The Deal Approval Return To Submitter window appears. It contains the following fields:
    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Deal ID Displays the deal that you want to request the submitter to resubmit for approval. Not applicable
    Model ID Displays the deal version that you want to request the submitter to resubmit for approval. Not applicable
    Deal Return Reason Lists the reasons why you want the submitter to resubmit the deal for approval.
    Note: This list includes only those values which are defined in the Approval Workflow Reason screen where the Reason Category is set to Deal Return.
    		 Yes
    Send Deal Back with Approvals Used to indicate whether you want to send the deal or the deal version to the submitter with the already approved pricing and commitments or not. The valid values are:

    • No

    • Yes

    		 Yes
    Comments Used to specify additional information about sending the deal to the submitter for resubmitting the deal for an approval. Yes
  4. Enter the required details in the Deal Approval Return To Submitter window.
  5. Click Save.
    A message appears confirming that the deal is sent to the submitter for resubmitting the deal for approval.
  6. Click OK.
    The deal is sent to the submitter to resubmit the deal for approval.
