Verify a PCIe Card

1. Verify that the Fault LED is not illuminated on the PCIe card.
2. Verify that the System Service Required LEDs on the front panel and rear I/O module are not illuminated.

   See Interpreting LEDs.

3. Verify that the System PCIe Fault LED on the front panel is not illuminated.

   See Front Panel Controls and LEDs.

4. Consider your next steps.
   • If any of the LEDs are illuminated, see Diagnostics Process.
   • If none of the LEDs are illuminated, go to Step 6.
5. Verify that the green Power LED is lit on the PCIe card carrier that you installed.
6. At the Oracle Solaris prompt, ensure that the PCIe card is connected and online:

   # hotplug list -cv
