You can also use the ATG platform to create and maintain workflows, which allow you to set up many business processes so that they can be performed online. For example, you can set up a Web-based approval process for employee expenses and make it available on your company’s intranet. Although not required as part of setting up a personalized Web site, activities such as creating workflows allow you to further streamline your organization’s internal practices by making them part of the same system you use to interact with the people who visit your external Web site.
