To delete a single branch, point the mouse at the left end of the branch so that a triangle appears on it, and right-click the triangle. Then select Delete from the menu that appears. (Note: Each Fork element must have at least two branches; if you perform this action in a fork that has only two branches, it deletes the whole fork and inserts any elements it contained into the main segment.)
