- Ensure
that you have completed the following:
- If you replaced a faulty PM,
log in to the fmadm shell, and use the fmadm faulty command
to determine if a fault on the PM is shown:
-> start /SP/faultmgmt/shell
Do you want to start the /SP/faultmgmt/shell (y/n)? y
faultmgmtsp> fmadm faulty
- If the output shows
the replacement PM as enabled, go to Step 3.
- If the output shows the replacement
PM as disabled, go to Detecting and Managing Faults to
clear the fault from the server.
- Verify that the OK LED is lit on the PM and that the Fault LED is not lit.

- Verify that the front and rear
Service Required LEDs are not lit.

- Perform one of the following
tasks based on your verification results:
- If a fault was
detected, see Diagnostics Process.
- If no fault was detected, then
the processor module was installed successfully.
