Install a Power Supply
The power supply is a hot-service component that can be replaced by a customer.
 | Caution - This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge. This discharge can cause failure of server components. |
- Open
the latch on the replacement power supply, and align the power supply with
the empty bay.
- Slide the power supply into the chassis.
- Press the lever against the power
supply to fully seat the power supply in the server.
- Verify the installation.
