Power On the Server (Oracle ILOM)

The start up process depends on the last power state of the server and on Oracle ILOM policy settings. You must check to see if the system is running before you issue the start /SYS command.

1. Log in to Oracle ILOM.

   See Log In to Oracle ILOM (Service).

2. Determine if the system has been started.

   -> show /System power_state

   • If the system is running, go to the verification task for the component that you replaced.

   • If the system is not running, go to Step 3.

3. Start the system.

   -> start /System

4. Determine your next step.

   • If you are servicing a component, return to the procedure for that component.

   • If you are upgrading the server, return to Server Upgrade Process.
