To start or stop a Search environment is to start or stop the Search engines on all machines that are part of that If some engine in an environment are running and others are not, stopping the environment stops all running engines, and starting the environment starts all currently stopped engines.
To start or stop a Search environment:
In the Administration Options menu, go to Projects > Your Project > Environments.
Click the Start or Stop link for the environment.
