Topics can be associated with content in your index to help users locate information. Topics are created in hierarchies called topic sets. Rule patterns and macros provide a powerful tool set for automatically associating content with topics.
Note: If you make changes to topic sets, you must reindex your Search project before the topic changes are applied to your content.
