You can create a dictionary by importing a properly formatted XML file into ATG Search. Use this feature to import dictionaries created in previous versions of Search, or when moving your Search installation.
To import a dictionary:
In the Administration Options menu, go to Search Workbench > Customizations > Term Dictionaries.
Click Import Dictionary.
Browse to the XML file that defines the dictionary you want to import.
Provide a name (required) and description (optional) for the new dictionary.
Click Import.
