When an application is configured to do so, ATG user segments that are created in the Business Control Center are automatically shared with the Experience Manager tool in Oracle Endeca Commerce. When an ATG user segment is shared, it is added to the Add/Modify User Segments dialog box in Experience Manager, thereby allowing Experience Manager users to specify an ATG user segment as a trigger for a cartridge. Out of the box, Commerce Reference Store is configured to share ATG user segments with Endeca. See the Endeca Integration Guide for more information on how the feature works and is configured.

Note: User segment sharing is one way. When configured to do so, ATG user segments are shared with Experience Manager. However, Endeca user segments created in Workbench are not shared with the Business Control Center.
