Installation Task Overview
A full-time SER MGT connection is where there is a persistent serial connection to the
SER MGT port, and it is used for switch administration. A temporary SER MGT connection
is where the SER MGT port is used only for switch installation and configuration of
network management. Thereafter, network management is used for switch administration.
The installation task overview accommodates both connection types and identifies any
deviations from the installation sequence.
