Install the Air Duct Assembly

1. Identify the prerequisite and subsequent installation tasks that you must perform in conjunction with this task.

   See Installation Task Overview.

2. Ensure that the power cords and SER MGT cable (if attached) are out of the way and will not interfere with installing the air duct assembly.

   Tuck the power cord slack into the opening of the long front mounting bracket. Tuck the SER MGT cable slack into the cavity of the air duct assembly.

3. Lift the air duct assembly to where it installs on the switch.

   Though the air duct assembly is symmetrical, the logo, if present, goes to the right.

   
   
4. Push the air duct assembly in to the front of the switch, until it snaps into place.
5. Consider your next steps.
   • If you have DHCP-assigned IP addresses, power on the switch.

   • If you have a full-time SER MGT connection, power on the switch.

   • If your SER MGT connection was only temporary, verify the switch installation.
