Retrieve the Power Cords and SER MGT Cable

1. Identify the prerequisite and subsequent installation tasks that you must perform in conjunction with this task.

   See Installation Task Overview.

2. Take the paper clip and lift the smaller loop away from the larger loop.
   
3. Continue to open the paper clip and fold the smaller loop over, so that the paper clip now resembles the letter S.
4. Open the larger loop approximately 45 degrees to form a hook.
5. Holding the smaller loop, insert the larger loop into the opening of the long front mounting bracket, to hook the power cord hanging inside.
6. Pull the power cord through the opening, until you can grasp it with your fingers.
   
7. Pull the cord through so that the end of the cord is free.
8. Repeat Step 5 through Step 7 for the other power cord.
9. If you will have a full-time SER MGT connection, repeat Step 5 through Step 7 for the SER MGT cable.

   Note -  When pulling the SER MGT cable, be careful not to break the tab of the RJ-45 connector.

10. Consider your next steps.
    • If you have DHCP-assigned IP addresses, connect the power cords.

    • Otherwise, connect the SER MGT cable.
