The storage array contains 24 SAS-2 drives, which are either hard disk drives (HDD) or the solid state drives (SSDs). The storage array supports the following HDD/SSD drives:
14 x 1.6 TB or 3.2 TB 3.5-inch SSDs (for database virtual machine groups)
4 x 200 GB 3.5-inch SSDs (for REDO logs for database virtual machine groups)
6 x 8 TB or 10 TB 7200 rpm 3.5-inch SAS-3 HDDs (for shared storage for application or database virtual machine groups)
