Connect the 10GbE Private Network

The 10GbE private network transfers data between the two compute nodes. This network is also used for the RAC interconnect when Oracle RAC is installed on the MiniCluster.

1. Locate the NET 0 and NET 1 ports in the first compute node.
2. Connect two Category 5 (or better) cables to the two ports in the first compute node.
3. Locate the NET 0 and NET 1 ports in the second compute node.
4. Connect the other ends of the two cables to the two ports in the second compute node.
   • Connect the NET 0 port from the first compute node to the NET 0 port on the second compute node.
   • Connect the NET 1 port from the first compute node to the NET 1 port on the second compute node.
   
   
5. Connect the base storage array to the compute nodes.
