Power Off the Server (Emergency Shutdown)
This procedure places the system in the power standby mode. To service cold-replaceable components, you must remove the power.
 | Caution - All applications and files are closed abruptly without saving changes. File system corruption might occur. |
- Press and hold the Power button for four seconds.
- If you are servicing a cold-service component, or if you are upgrading the server, disconnect the power cords.
