Verify the Power Supply

  1. Verify that the power supply Power OK and AC Present LEDs are lit and that the Fault LED is not lit.

    See Rear Panel Controls and LEDs.

  2. Verify that the front and rear Service Required LEDs are not lit.

    See Interpreting LEDs.

  3. Log in to Oracle ILOM.

    See Log In to Oracle ILOM (Service).

  4. Start the faultmgmt shell.
    -> start SP/faultmgmt/shell

  5. Use the fmadm faulty command to determine if the server is operating normally.
    • If a fault was detected, see Diagnostics Process.

    • If no fault was detected, the power supply was installed successfully.
