Transactional Snippets are ATG Self-contained fragments of JSP code which can be included as statement fields in solutions, allowing users to perform certain activities such as changing passwords or viewing order history. ATG Knowledge comes preconfigured with several Transactional Snippets.
Default transactional snippets are part of the Service.common.extensions, Service.Agent.extensions and Service.ATG SelfService.extensions modules. Snippets are stored as repository items in the ServiceRepository; their configuration files are installed in the appropriate module directories when you install ATG Knowledge.
Snippets contain parameters whose values are set by the website user or customer service agent when they interact with the transactional snippet in the context of a solution.
