For proper load balancing, you should create two clusters, one for ATG Knowledge and one for ATG Self Service, with two load managers, one for each cluster. To make sure the load manager server has access to the proper database tables:

Service.common-pubmodule during application assembly.When you use the ATG SelfService Load Manager, specify the
Service.commonmodule during application assembly.
