Because of the large number of database transactions that occur when migrating solution data, it is important to test and configure your database for best performance. Your early testing should include experimenting with the number of solutions to process in each batch (EserverMigrationService.solutionBatchSize) and following advice from your database vendor on general tuning, tablespace extents, and rollback segments.
