Configuring Multi-Language Topic Sets

When using multi-language authoring, you will also need to configure multi-language topic sets. You must map each supported language to a topic set definition.

  1. On the ATG Search server file system, locate and open the /atg/searchadmin/repository/service/TopicService.properties file.

  2. Edit the localeTopicSetMap property to include your language-topic set mapping with languages separated by commas and topic set names separated by colons, as follows:

    localeTopicSetMap=language1=topic set1:topic set2,
    language2=topic set2:topic set3

    For example:

    localeTopicSetMap=en_US=System Taxonomy:Test Taxonomy,
    en=System Taxonomy:Test Taxonomy,fr=System Taxonomy

  3. Save the file.
