Note: Be sure you have installed and configured ATG Search before beginning migration.
Before running migration, you must import your current search topics from the old eServer database into the new ATG Search server.
To import topics into ATG Search, follow these steps:
On your new ATG Search / ATG Knowledge server, go to
<ATG2007.3dir>/Search2007.3/helpers/and locate theImportEServer.cmdutility.Run
ImportEServer.cmdto import topics. The basic syntax for topics is:ImportEServer.cmd topics -resource <eserver_resource_id>where
<eserver_resource_id>is the name of the eServer resource defined in the Search Management Console for the eServer domain you are migrating.Optionally, migrate your eServer vocabulary. The basic syntax for vocabulary terms is:
ImportEServer.cmd terms -resource <eserver_resource_id> [-lexicon]
<dictionary_name>
