ATG Knowledge uses process-level workflows and project -level workflows:
Process-level workflows create projects, monitor the projects as they proceed through one or more project-level workflows, and complete the projects when all the steps are finished. A process-level workflow incorporates tasks that are performed throughout an entire process, such as creating a new solution.
Project-level workflows implement the step-by-step sequence as it unfolds. Project-level workflows are comprised of tasks that perform specific task grouping, such as editing a solution. Editing a solution is task group that can be incorporated into the entire creating a new solution process, which is a process-level workflow.
For example, when you begin authoring a new solution, a new process-level workflow begins (CreateNewSolution
). CreateNewSolution
launches a project-level workflow, EditNewSolution
, and waits for the project-level tasks to be completed.
