This action takes the value from a specified URL parameter within the URL of the current page and uses it to populate the custom data field.
The following configuration options are available for this action:
Custom Data Field: This is used to specify which custom data field should be populated with the value taken from the URL parameter.
RightNow Custom Data Field: If you are a RightNow customer, this field is used to specify which of the RightNow Custom Data fields should be populated with the value taken from the specified URL parameter. If you select Custom Data Field from the dropdown list a further configuration option is displayed:
RightNow Custom Data Field ID: This is used to specify the ID for the custom data field that should be populated with the value taken from the specified URL parameter.
HTTP URL Parameter Name: This is used to specify the name of the URL parameter which shall be used to populate the custom data field.
Note: If the specified URL parameter cannot be found in the URL of the current page then no value is assigned to the custom data field.
