Determine Which SP Is Managing System Activity

The SP that is identified as the Active SP manages system activity. On SPARC M8-8 and SPARC M7-8 servers, this SP is located in the CMIOU chassis. On a SPARC M7-16 server, this SP is located in the switch chassis.

The example shows that SP0 is assigned the status of the Active SP.

• On an SP, type:

  -> show /SP/redundancy/
     /SP/redundancy/
      Properties:
      fru_name = /SYS/SP0/SPM0
      initiate_failover_action = (none)
      status = Active
