Installing ATG Service on UNIX

Follow these steps to install the ATG Service on UNIX:

  1. Download the following distribution file:

    ATG_Service10.1.jar

  2. Unpack the ATG_Service101.jar file in the destination folder for Service Administration:

    jar xvf ATG_Service10.1.jar

  3. In the directory where you unpacked the jar file, enter the following command to set execute permissions for the installer package:

    chmod 755 ATG-Service10.1.bin

  4. Run the ATG-Service10.1.bin file.

  5. Follow the prompts, ensuring that Service Administration and any other ATG applications you wish to install are selected.

  6. Click Done to complete the installation process.
