You can set the advanced search settings applied when searching for solutions in Knowledge Manager. Use the Business Control Center and the Service Administration > Service Administration Configuration > Service Project
> Service Center > Knowledge Settings > Search page to configure what options the user can select from when using the Advanced Search function in Knowledge Manager.
To allow the user to see the document format information, use checkboxes for the following options:
Document Formats – Selecting the Enabled box allows users to search by document format
Enabled Formats – Selects the formats by which users can search. The formats are PDF, HTML or Other
Solution Classes – Selecting the Enabled box allows users to search by solution class
Enabled Solution Classes – Selects the available classes by which users can search
