Installing ATG Service on Windows

Follow these steps to install ATG Service on Windows:

  1. Download the following distribution file:

    ATG-Service10.1.exe

  2. Run the ATG-Service10.1.exe file. The Introduction screen appears.

  3. Click Next. The License Agreement page appears.

  4. Select “I accept the terms of the License Agreement.”

  5. Click Next. The Choose Install Set page appears.

    The installation allows you to install all of, or specific components of ATG Service, which includes:

    Service Administration
    Knowledge Manager base code and the Knowledge Manager UI
    Self Service base code and the Self Service UI

    Note: You must install both the base code and the UI components for the application to work correctly.

  6. Select Service Administration and Knowledge Manager and Self Service components.

  7. Click Next. Follow the prompts to complete installation. When you click Install, the installer completes the installation.

  8. Click Done to complete the installation process.
