The Management Toolbox helper panel allows Knowledge Manager users with access rights to open Search Administration and/or Service Administration directly from the Knowledge Manager user interface.
To configure what appears in the Management toolbox:
Open the ACC and locate and open the
/atg/svc/agent/ui/component.
ManagementToolboxConfiguration(If the component is already started, stop it before making changes.)
Note: If you have entered Site, Service Administration or Search Administration URL information using the Service Administration > Service Administration Configuration > Service Center > Global Workspace Settings > General Settings Panel, those settings will take precedence over any values that you configure in
ManagementToolboxConfiguration.properties. To ensure thatManagementToolboxConfiguration.propertiesfile values are used in the Management Toolbox, ensure that the Site URL, Service Administration URL and Search Administration URL fields in Service Administration > Service Administration Configuration > Service Center > Global Workspace Settings > General Settings Panel are blank.Set the
agentAdminURLproperty to the URL to your Service Administration. For example:http://hostname:port/adminSet the
SearchManagementConsoleURLproperty to the URL for Search Administration. For example:http://hostname:port/adminuiSave your changes and restart the component.
